Adobe Experience Platform Tag Extension

Adobe Experience Platform Tag Extension is Adobe’s universal tag management platform widely used for the management of data collection and distribution within Adobe’s ecosystem of products. Zeotap’s integration with Adobe Experience Platform Tag Extension enables the next generation of tag management capabilities from Adobe within just a few clicks. The Zeotap extension named Zeotap Collect is available in the Adobe Experience Platform using which you can easily deploy Zeotap’s JavaScript on your website to track clickstream data. The extension comes with pre-built capabilities to collect events from the webpage as well as allow you to customise what data you would like to be shared with Zeotap. The data collected can be used with the downstream Zeotap products for building batch audiences and real-time data orchestration.

What does it do?

Data is the lifeblood of the digital marketing industry. It is critical that, as a marketer, you understand how people communicate or interact with your business or site, whether you run a personal website, a small business website, or an e-commerce store. For customers using Adobe Experience Platform Tag Extension as their tag management product, Zeotap Collect allows one-click deployment of Zeotap’s JavaScript and tracking of clickstream data.

How does it work?

Adobe Experience Platform Tag Extension is an addition under the Tag Manager Source Type offered by Zeotap and here is how it works:

  1. Create an Adobe Experience Platform Tag Extension source.
  2. Configure the Zeotap Collect extension within the Adobe Experience Platform.
  3. Use the user traits and attributes in Connect to create segments or use this streaming source for real-time orchestrated workflows.
  4. Activate users across channels for personalized targeting.

Google Pub/Sub for real-time journey orchestration

The Google Pub/Sub integration with Zeotap’s real-time journey orchestration platform creates an enterprise-wide real-time path that enables data flow from applications, services or IoT devices: Apps, services or IoT devices to other Google Cloud products in real-time via Pub/Sub. For customers on GCP, Zeotap’s Pub/Sub integration provides low latency real-time data orchestration capability for activation. 

What does it do?

This integration enables customers to receive user interactions and server events. Customers who want to receive user interaction events or server events from end-user applications can forward this information to Pub/Sub through our integration. Zeotap creates a unique profile for the customer and then tracks the user’s behaviour. As the data passes through the real-time orchestrated workflow, customers also receive enhanced events (from the unified golden record).

How does it work?

Here is how the integration works between Zeotap CDP and Google Pub/Sub:

  1. Create a source to ingest their data into Zeotap and successfully maps them to your Catalogue.
  2. Create a workflow in Zeotap CDP’s Journey Orchestration module. 
  3. Add the relevant connection details for your Google Pub/Sub account. The data is then uploaded to Google Pub/Sub.
  4. With the connection established, Zeotap creates a unique customer profile and sends user profile attributes, custom attributes, custom events, purchases fields or any other attributes that you enable to Google Pub/Sub.
  5. You can then further build applications on their Google Pub/Sub account and empower that using the enhanced data coming through Zeotap’s integration.

Google Pub/Sub for real-time journey orchestration comes with the following benefits:

  • Capability to analyse data from web, mobile and other data sources in a single place
  • Hassle-free integration in just a few clicks
  • Ability to query data in real-time 
  • Automated sync frequency to update data to Zeotap
  • Data onboarding in secure and compliant 
  • Real-time event distribution – Events, raw or processed, are made available to multiple applications for real-time processing
  • Data streaming from applications, services, or IoT devices – For example, a SaaS application can publish a real-time feed of events. Or, a residential sensor can stream data to Pub/Sub for use in other Google Cloud products through a Dataflow pipeline.


TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile videos, providing content that is exciting, spontaneous, and genuine. Zeotap’s integration with TikTok enables companies and marketers to have access to the global audience of TikTok. 

Marketers often struggle to create custom audiences that would help them achieve the following points: 

  • Scheduling routine updates of the custom audience and create a consistent and the most up-to-date audience to be targeted is a huge task.
  • A means to automate custom audience management through API endpoints could reduce manual effort and the risk of personal data breaches.
  • A means to dynamically update audiences to expand audience profiles is desirable.

How does it work?

Here is how the integration works between Zeotap CDP and TikTok:

  1. Create a destination for TikTok with the Advertiser ID and Access Token as required. 
  2. Create a segment in Connect with MAID (Android and iOS) and hashed email and phone numbers.
  3. Push the segment to the TikTok destination you created.
  4. The segment appears under the Audiences section of the TikTok console and can be used for advertising.
